August Auto Sales: Hyundai sales fall
Hyundai Motor America said Wednesday its U.S. sales fell 11 percent in August compared with an all-time sales record a year ago when federal Cash for Clunkers rebates drew more buyers to showrooms.

Kia recalling Soul, Sorento autos for wiring fix
Kia Motors is recalling about 35,000 Soul and Sorento vehicles to fix wiring in the interior lighting panels that could lead to fires.

Suspicious Vehicle Shuts Park Avenue
The NYPD shut down several blocks of Park Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan on Thursday, September 2, 2010, because of a suspicious vehicle. After 5 p.m. police reported that nothing suspicious was found in a black Mercedes and the streets were reopened.
