Appeals court reinstates evidence against homeless shelter operator in Detroit fraud case
DETROIT — An appeals court on Wednesday overturned a federal judge in Detroit who dealt a blow to the government’s tax fraud and conspiracy case against the head of a Highland Park homeless shelter and his controller.
