Kilpatrick: Council’s vote to stop tunnel deal held no weight

DETROIT — Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick said Thursday afternoon the City Council’s vote earlier today nixing the process to sell Detroit’s half of the Detroit-Windsor tunnel was “nebulous,” held no weight, and the city, at least for now, is not planning to lay off any workers.
